Call for Applications: Grant for Growth Innovation (GGI)
The deadline for grant applications is Tuesday January 6, 2015.
Researchers with proposals for projects that have the potential to advance understanding in the field of growth are invited to apply for the GGI 2015 award. We are particularly interested in:
• Innovative translational research that could potentially improve patients’ lives
• The impact of nutrition on growth
• The metabolic impact of growth disorders
• Pathophysiology of growth disorders
• Techniques in diagnosis and follow-up on growth disorders
• Extremes in growth disorders
• Identification of biomarkers in patients with growth disorders
• Studies elucidating the long-term metabolic impact of the ‘GH-IGF axis’ activity.
A total grant of up to €400,000 will be awarded to one or more selected projects.
Applications will be evaluated by a Scientific Steering Committee, composed of internationally renowned endocrinologists, according to five criteria:
• Innovation
• Scientific rationale
• Clarity
• Feasibility
• Impact of research.
